My project is a steel chair with an anthropomorphic, playful quality—its form gives the impression that it could walk away at any moment, which is something I’m always drawn to. I was inspired by Kartell, a company known for its use of bright, smooth plastics in furniture design. While my chair is made of steel, I aimed to capture that same bold, almost animated energy, bringing a sense of movement and personality into a traditionally rigid material.
