This project is a quarter-scale model of a chair I designed, inspired by Martin Bedin’s work as part of the Memphis Group. Her designs introduced me to that design period and its world of fun, weird, and playful aesthetics. This project is a reflection of that influence, embracing bold colors and an unconventional approach to furniture design while maintaining a sense of functionality and character.
